I'm looking at getting a white paper roll background, has anyone used one of these as I see I can get 2 white options, Polar white or arctic white. Is there much of a difference between the 2 and would you recommend one over the other. I'll be using it or portait shots. Thanks!

I would say either would be fine as long as you set your White Balance to whatever light you throw.

I find that if the paper is "too white", I get a blueish hue.
