Advice on a Crop

I am wondering if the crop of this photo leaves to subject too centered. I would have prefered to clone out the out of focus toy on the left side, but I don't have to right software. Should I leave it as is, or go with the crop? Also, any technical CC would be greatly appreciated.

I think the crop is an improvement. Yes the face is centered, but the eyes are still located in the top 3rd of the image.

I think the bigger problem is the softness in the image. You didn't get the focus on the eyes.

I agree. The crop works better but the focus is off and is a bit painful on the eyes.
