I spent alot of time last night going through this thread lol
This morning I couldnt wait to go and give it a try!!
Ive got a A560 these are my 1st shots with macro :oops:

Not a bad exposure, and DOF. One thing that you should find, is that macro will teach you to view the world in a totally new way.

As you grow at this, you will be able to go out into almost any environment which would be hopeless for taking an interesting photo at normal range. However you will learn to find things that only very rare individuals will see. There is a whole new world out there waiting for your discovery. Go gettum.
