Hi all

Went to the bird of prey center at Beal, just north of Berwick if you are UK based. They had just moved so not all birds were at flying weight. And it was windy, which is why the owl was on a loooong tether.

All taken with 5d and 100-400 for flying shots, 24-70 for caged shots. All cropped to some degree, exif intact.

Full gallery here (external link)

I'd prefer to see them fully wild, but that's not always possible, and this is at least trying to improve public awareness.

Chris

Thanks guys, it was nice to actually catch some decent in flight shots for a change. Normally, I'm just behind the drag curve :-)

Thanks again guys.

It's a pity I didn't get more of the Sayker, but he knew he would get fed no matter what he did, so he did nothing :-)

The first one is world class! They are all nice but that one really stands out.
