Just a snapshot of 3 of my kids. Today I was on the Iron range and had the oppertunity to walk threw the repair facility...What a treat!

I would have gladly spent all day shooting, but will settle for the couple snapshot's i got off as we walked threw.

I think I was more delighted than the kids and don't remember the details very well but I BELIEVE he said it is just shy of 3,000HP

Not a great photo and harsh conditions. The dynamic range and mixed lighting were nothing short of extreme so something had to give and the kids wound up with a nice neon quality...But this time the background was determined the point of intrest.

Good to see that kids still like trucks!! :)

Even as they get older, I bet this will remain a favorite family photo.

Each tire weigh's 20,000 lbs, And as a roufgh estimate 12' -14' tall.

I had the kid's standing about 20' in front of it because I didn't want them completley lost in the photo...But it does skew the real size of this beast. When we walked out of the shop my ability to percieve size was so twisted that I walked past a Semi-truck it seemed oddly small, made me do a double take!

Everything in there is super-sized to the point that I completly lost my sense of scale. I walked past a frontend loader bucket that held 18 yds of soil...At first I just blew it of because it seemed small next to the "Big" trucks. But then it dawned on me....18Yds, One scoop would fill a regular size dumptruck.
