can you change ETTL to ETTL II or is this automatically sensed by the camera body?
Im using 5D and 1DMk.2.

It's the camera that determines if the flash is going to operate in ETTL or ETTL-II. Both the 5D and the 1DmkII use ETTL-II for flash exposures. The last camera bodies to support ETTL were the 10D and the DRebel (300D). All cameras since are ETTL-II. ...Leo
