When taking pictures of two lovely pregnant women, asking them to walk down a scenic, sunlit path does not yield the same attractive results as if you did it with an engagement couple. The 5D sensor somehow picked up the waddle in every frame.... ??? Now I'm going to get killed when the wife sees the results.

It was nice knowing you, POtN.

I've only been here a short time, Hoff, but it's been nice knowing you.

Hope the surgeons can successfully extract the 5D.

:-D

The Hoff takes one on the chin.

I shot a wedding recently where I left and thought "not one good shot".

Maybe your sensor is bad?

people will always try to stop you doing the right thing if it is unconventional
Full frame and some primes.

It's all the sensors fault, right?

I'm pretty sure this is Canon's fault. Would IS have helped stop the shake?

I kid, I kid... two beautiful ladies, really... I screwed up. I was so rushed since they were going to dinner and there was almost no light left at 8pm. My direction was horrible and I didn't meter properly.

I don't think you have a problem. The highlights don't look toooo blown. If you shot RAW you should be able to fix them up with a little dodge and burn and using the clone and darken trick.
Heck you could even drag out the liquify filter and change the aspect ratio. :)

Well yea, roast me over a spit, why don't ya?

I shouldn't have called it a shoot, it was 'take a picture of us before we go out to dinner' and I didn't want to do it in the living room like we always do. Image removed since this isn't the sharing forum anyway.

He removed them...

To my untrained eye, they didn't look that bad, except for the faint shadow on the left woman's body.

Repeat after me...

I would have done much better if I had a 1Ds Mk III.
I would have done much better if I had a 1Ds Mk III.

Now go sell yourself, you have the perfect opportunity. :D
