Can´t upload images

Hello,
I´m new to this forum. I installed the zoombrowser that came with my digicam (Power Shot A50), but then when I try to configure it to upload the pictures into my computer, it crashes. Because I can only choose com3, but I don´t have that com. Then when I click on detect, my computer crashes. By the way, the version of my zoombrowser is 1.1.3.6. I looked for other versions but I just can´t find. Does anyone knows what to do? Is there another program that I can use?
