Picked up a used MacBook Pro from a seller here on the forum. I need to change the default owner i.e. the owner/default user that was setup when the computer was purchased new and set up for the first time. Can this be done without doing a clean install of Leopard or do I have to bite the bullet and sacrifice the installed software MS Office 04 Mac and Aperture.

I am not all that concerned with Aperture but would like to keep Office. I did about an hours worth of internet research and wasn't able to find the definitive answer, how to or otherwise. Any help greatly appreciated. TIA!

I found the receipe to change it on a Norwegian Mac site.
I will have to try it myself and then I might translate it.

If you have an external drive, you can do a clean install on it, then use Migration Assistant to move all your files over to the new drive. After that, boot from that external and make sure it's doing what you expect it to do (e.g., running Office, Aperture, etc.). Once you're sure it's behaving properly, initialize your internal drive and then use Carbon Copy Cloner (free) to clone the external onto the internal.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

I'd just use NeoOffice (external link), rather then an illegal version (not registered to you) of MS Office, since I suppose that is the case...
