Shot this at a local rodeo last week.

Not the best of lighting conditions, of course. Shot this with my 30D using my 85mm opened to 1.8 ISO 1600 and ss 320/sec

I also tried a noise reducer for my first time, using a trial version of Noise Ware.

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

+1....Good job!

I would even consider backing off a bit more on the NR, I think the image could stand it on #1...just so it would get farther away from that plasticky-look or maybe its just the way the light is hitting it...I can see you've watched out for that already and its a fine photo but just a "hair" more IMHO and you got it...;)...Its just a matter of preference, you've pulled off some nice shots no matter what!

#2 looks SOLID...Nice job!

Great job in really tough lighting from the look of your settings!
