hey im supposed t be going to a mets game at shea stadium. my question is seeing the lenses i have would it be worth me going? i have no real zoom lenses and the seats are kinda crappy i guess since they were free. my only reason for going would be to get off some good shots but my longest lens is a sigma 105mm. would this even be worth going to with this lens? btw game starts at 7pm est

Does the stadium have a size limit on lenses? The Jacksonville Jaguars don't allow anything over 6 inches.

I shot with my 70-200 at Coors Field w/o any problems. It's ALWAYS worth it to take your camera. You probably won't get any great action shots but you can get some nice wide angle shots with the 17-40.

My impression is that you'd be able to take your gear into Shea, yeah, even a white lens!

I'd say your lenses are too short for close action shots, however you can still get some pretty nice wide angle shots of the stadium, showing the scale of Shea in its glory.

I'll miss Shea. I never really was too crazy about the stadium, but it kind of grows on you after a while I guess!
