well i finally got my lee filter holder from B&H today and the first thing i did was put on the 105mm accessory thread for my polorizer. no problem
then when i realized my polarizer vignettes badly below 14mm w/ my 10-22 i went to remove some of the filter holder slots
here is when i noticed the problem. the screws wouldnt go in on one side past about 4 threads (the amount used to mount all 3 filter slots)
so i take the screws back out and examine them
sure enough they are slightly bent at the end (3-4 threads in) which im guessing caused the threads in the holder to cross thread

Since it is too late to call B&H i really just needed to vent to you guys and ask what do i do? will they take it back? send me a new one? anyone else have this problem?
the big problem is i have a trip up to colorado this weekend where i was planning on using my new toy

Call B&H when they open at 9am EDT (toll free customer service number on the back of your invoice), and explain that the filter is defective, and that you want an RMA to exchange it, but since you need the new one right away, they will also put in an order for a new one to be sent out while you are on the phone. They will e-mail you the RMA forms, and even e-mail you a separate UPS pickup label for the defective filter. You will likely have to pay additional S/H to get the new one to you before the weekend, but as soon as the old one is received back at B&H, they will refund you the amount so you will have only paid for one filter, and possibly some additonal express S/H.
