Morning all,

For those of you who don't know, Lydden Hill is a little 1 mile circuit in the South East corner of England. It's not an oval (before the Americans on here start thinking of a 1 mile oval!) but rather a shrunk down and reversed Brands Hatch.

It's in the middle of rolling Kent countryside and is one of my favourite places to be on a Saturday morning. Worryingly.

This weekend had a poor selection of races including Ford Saloons, Fiestas and Global Lights. And that was it... Fortunately I was being paid to be there so no matter.

All shot with the (t)rusty 30D and slowly failing 100-400!

1. Nice Turbo Escort that spun the lead away on the last corner...

7. 1/80th pan. Like the way the watermark look likes it sponsors the car!

8. Oh and finally another crash shot

Thanks for looking. Hard to get any superb shots because the light was dull all weekend and with so few cars it gets a bit tricky after a while!

Cheers

Jon

Nice shots Jon. It looks like you were in the right place at the right time to catch the not so fun (for the drivers) action. 6 is great.

Thanks for sharing Jon. Very nice shots.

What's up with the 100-400? I was thinking of investing in one of those.

Ta

Dave

Yep seen the Fiesta crash in Autosport, looked like a busy day for the marshalls, great shots.
