The horizon is a little crooked, and subject a bit too centred for my taste. Do you have the uncropped version? Maybe do a landscape with the tower to one side? (Or did you take it in portrait)?

thank you for your feedback. it was shot in portrait @ 200mm about 50 feet off the ground on a lookout point so i was shooting down on it slightly hence the "crooked" horizon. no cropping done on this shot just some levels and curves adjustments.

are there any other comments? i am trying to get better and the feedback really helps (lots of room for improvement). be mean, i can take it :D

haha yes i wish i had a 500mm lens to zoom in there to catch him. from the high res crop im pretty sure it's a peregrine falcon.

It's lightened it a bit, but the background has a washed-out look to it and the sky is featureless. I still think it's the composition that's lacking more than the technical aspect of the exposure. The rod at the very top appears to be cut off as well. Here's my attempt at a fixup (using Paint Shop Pro). The water looks nicer in your version though.
