Just getting around to PP shots from Tuesday. Very long day walking the course. I have new respect for the working Pros (photographers :)).

I was only carrying 1 camera & 2 lenses & I was exhausted by the end of the day.

I saw several guys carrying 3 & 4 1D cameras. 1 guy had a wide angle, 70-200 f2.8 & 2 super tele's (not sure which, but you know what I'm talking about)

Anyway, here's a couple from Tuesday: Stewart Appleby & Paul Azinger

Both with 5D & 100-400 L

Excellent shot of Appleby! For your part you did everything right; it's just a shame there were so many people so spread out int he background. They might have blended more smoothly if they'd have been packed solidly like on a real competition day, but you did well with what you had. :D

For the 2nd image, u hit the shutter right on the point where u heard the driver made contact with the ball.

nice timing, but did you get a stare from him after that?

In a word, no. Cameras OK during practice & I did not see any player response to any photographer. I saw 1 guy (don't know whether he was pro or amateur) blast away from the top of the back-swing.

I tried to time impact, but it's tricky. The guys swing so fast.

I like the first one but it is a shame the other ball on the green is distracting. I feel it is better when cropped tighter (just above the other ball).

Nothing decent enough to brag about :D

Yeah, good point. I was kind of in a hurry so didn't take too much time with PP. A square crop or just clone out the other ball would be better.

A lot of shots to go thru - nearly 600 all in Raw. I haven't even looked at all of them

Have more, but would have to start a new thread. Can only embed 2 images as I don't have an online gallery to link to.

Actually got a little bit sidetracked :o playing with LR 2.0 & some older images.

Try using imageshack.us or photobucket.com

they're free

the imageshack toolbar is especially handy
