I like to get out in the middle of the day and frame up several locations and return to my camper to choose a location for better light. I returned to this location only because I knew the sun would be setting behind me therefore lighting up the valley in between the hills. I returned...but it rained

The exposure was fairly central in the histogram but colors mostly washed out, and, since I had so much fun with my last B&W, thought I'd do the same with this one.

Nice one, Frank. It is so representative of that coastal area with the dramatic mountains and ponds. Too bad about your lighting, but the B&W is a great solution.
