Ok, I currently have a Lowepro slingshot 200 and a Lowepro rolling minitrekker.. the latter being used more for storage than anything else.

The problem is, I tend to cycle to work and the slingshot though great for carrying capacity is a bit square for carrying on when on my bike. This means I'm sans camera most lunchtimes when I could be spending an hour taking some shots..

So, my criteria is this:

1) Must be able to carry an EOS 40D with 28-105 f/4 attached, a second lens - either a EFS 10-22 or EF 70-200 F/4 L, and my 50mm f/1.8 prime

2) Must be practical for using whilst cycling

3) Must have space for phone, wallet, mp3 player and the usual junk required for daily life

4) Possibly able to fit a sandwich in, away from rest of camera kit

5) At a push, easily removable camera linings so it can be used as a normal bag

budget, about the £40-70 mark, £80 at a push..

Answers on a postcard much appreciated..

I was looking at the Crumpler courier style ones but there seem to be an infinite amount of varities of those, so anyone with experiences with them please tell me about them.

Thanks!

I'm still a bit confused why the SS isn't adequate?

It's the cycling thing I'm really on about... At a push I'd be happy with something that I can use 50% of the space for my camera and 50% for other things, it's more about a day to day bag rather than a specific camera bag.. So at a push I'd say my 40D, lens + 1 spare lens in terms of carrying capacity.

I had been looking at the crumpler bucket, which would fit in a courier bag I already use for cycling but for some reason they're not available in the UK, nor many other places..

Have you seen the Fastpack models? They have a large storage area - big enough to stick my head in on the 350 (don't ask how I know that) and can still be swung around like the Slingshots.

Love my slingshot, although got to admit wouldn't like to cycle with it! some of the smaller crumplers would do a lovely job!

Do you want a backpack or a shoulder bag. I can tell you the Kata 465 or 467 is wonderful. I have one and it would fit everything.

If anything, a shoulder bag but ideally something in the style of a courier bag for cycling with...

Like I say, I've got a slingshot, which is great for every other use but in terms of cycling it's too bulky and square.. I am figuring one of the crumpler courier style ones, but I'm not really sure how 'courier' they actually are.. The courier bag I use normally for cycling would probably be able to hold an insert/carrier for a DSLR with 1-2 lenses but as I said before, the Crumpler bucket seems annoyingly difficult to get, so really I'm after a courier bag that I can use half the space of for my camera and half for my daily junk..

Then we've already recommended the Domke bags, maybe the F-3X or the F-802, which is the one I have and it's plenty useful. It's tough and can stand bad weather.
