Very new to photography. Took these with my Rebel XT. Just looking for some constructive criticism.

white ballance seems very blue-greenish on all...first is my fav., although it is under-exposed

Is that why I do not seem to be getting vibrant colors out of my images? what should I change the WB to?

Good stuff in that link! I bookmarked it and will read up when I am out of work.

I have another Q though, how would I go about capturing clouds in the sky, as opposed to the sky being bright and overexposed in my pictures. I want to capture the clouds and what not, but at the same time not underexpose my images by having to underexpose the sky.
