Sorry, yet another LIGHTROOM BACKUP thread, what do I need to do when re-installing?

Yeah, I know this is not the first thread on backing up or re-installing Lightroom but believe it or not I''ve read most of them and I'mstill not confident I got it right; What do I need to do when re-installing Windows and Lightroom?

I have;
1. My DNG files in their original folder structure.
2. A backup of the catalog that I do every time Lightroom starts (Lightroom Catalog.lrcat).
3. The Lightroom Catalog Previews.lrdata folder.

What else do I need? I'm going to go from 1.4.1. to 2.0 after the re-install.

Nothing. It looks like you have it all squared away. All you need is your photographs and the Lightroom catalog. You don't even need the previews, but it saves time to keep 'em.

OK, cool. How about presets? I have the "store presets with catalog" box ticket, that means I don't have to do anything in regards to them?

True. The presets are then saved with the catalog. If you want to be extra safe, then goto Lightroom -> Preferences -> Presets and click `show lightroom presets folder'. Backup this folder and access it later if you have trouble loading your presets after the new installation.

I should've taken your advice on being extra safe because except for my own presets (which are pretty much pathetic anyway) all presets disappeared. Not to worry though, just re-download.

But I have a more serious problem; All pictures are roted back to it's original (as at the time of import) orientation. If I browse a folder I can see them in my correct orientation but then they automatically rotates back. Anybody know how I can get the program to leave them as they were?
