You have to start somewhere. Here is baby Alexander in his command Exer-saucer. I tried to focus on his eyes but he moves and the focus went about 2 inches in front of him showing the toys sharp in focus.

My concern are the colors. I tend to over do the colors and saturation at times. I tried to keep it toned down a bit this time. No sharping down in PP. I have no clue how to do that correctly.

Is this too snapshotish?

With a photo this cute...i would not worry about all that the other stuff. But if you would like to learn some PS techniques i would look into buying some of Scott Kelby's books. He does a great job (I think) in explaining PS techniques. In his CS3 book there is a whole chapter about sharpening. Also look for a book by scott called "7 point System" where he walks you step by step through opening a photo in ACR and making all the corrections and which one to start with. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks CASH. Actually I do have that book. I read through it once but have not tried any of the techniques except for the skin softening for portraits.
