I have no idea where mine is. I want to read up on this flash cause I need to learn more about it. My last shoot was my neices wedding a few weeks ago and it didn't go as well as I had liked. I wasn't the event photographer, but was able to shoot beside her. And I was fighting the camera and flash the entire time. i just don't do too much flash photography that much.

Any help finding this manual would be wonderful. i checked the Canon site and they have no manual listed. A few other sites that claim to have it for download, refer me back to the canon site.

Now that you have the manual, I'll suggest another trick:

Go out and use your flash in the next week on mundane photographs so that you can see how YOUR TECHNIQUE works. If you get some experience on shots that don't really matter you will see what works well and what doesn't work so well.

You can read all the manuals, books, tricks and tips you want to, but until you get out and try it yourself, I don't think it will stick. Then when you want to use your flash for photos that are keepers, you will know what works.

Canon 40D; Canon 70-200 mm f/2.8L IS, 17-55mm f/2.8 IS, 85 mm f/1.8; 580EX II; Sigma EF-530 DG Super; CyberSyncs

Thanks for the links and the suggestions. I certainly plan on doing more flash work, but also need to know what the flash can do, and what everything means in the flash menu. Right now it's all a guessing game to me, but hope the manual will clear somethings up.

Thanks for the help.
