Have a look at this thread. It's for the B87-B but other than the size is identical to the B91-B which is a little bigger. BTW, are you sure you want the B91-B instead of the B87-B?

price is not much different. I might use my 200IS or 300IS on some shot so the more clearance it has, the better. :)

If you're going to be using it with the long lenses then that's a good choice. However, just realize that if you mount the bracket on the upright part of the L-plate on the body, i.e. the side of the camera, the flash will not be center directly over the lens in the horizontal orientation. You will be able to move the flash so it's centered over the lens but then, the flash will be tilted to one side a little.

I use the B85-B Portrait Perfect Package with my 40D/grip and love it. If I needed the larger size of the 87 or 91 package dur to larger lenses, I would not hesitate to get it.

Don't forget you will need their L bracket as well, if you don't already have it.

The RRS system is first rate engineering and quality, but not the lightest system out there I'm sure. The L bracket and the Portrait Perfect package does add considerable weight, so if you are planning to hand-hold the camera with those lenses - and it's already tough without the RRS package - you might want to try and find a lighter weight system.

Good luck!

I just tried the B87-B on my 300 f/2.8 and there is more than enough clearance on it to easily mount it on the lens. As a matter of fact, the B87-B is just the right size for the 300 f/2.8.

I already have the Wimberley flash bracket to use with my long lenses but if I were to use the B87-B with them, I'd probably get the extension to raise the flash a little higher. The B91-B has the advantage of raising the flash about an inch and a half higher than the B87-B but I think an extension would be need even with this bracket.

This is the extension I'm referring to: http://reallyrightstuff.com …esc.asp?ic=FA-EX1&eq=&Tp= (external link)

it cost $10 more for B91-B compare to B87-B. :)

Never know that i might use it for the 600IS on some early morning bird shooting. :)

I have the FA-EX1 extension and it's great. I don't use it much, but it has its moments.

How's the build of that extension? Is it very rugged and rigid?
