I received an error 01 message that caused the shutter to freeze / lock when shooting with the 100mm-400mm lens. The error message will happen if and when the camera is in AF hunt while the IS is active.
I dropped the lens off at Canon for repair. When I receive the lens a few days later the problem still occurred. According to Canon, they fixed the issue and charged me an arm and a leg. However, the error 01 message still occurs when shooting with this lens. Any suggestions why this problem still continue after Canon claimed it was fixed? I'm very frustrated with Canon's ability to fix my lens.
