well, this is the first picture that i submit here, so be gentle ;)

i shot this one a few days ago, and i liked how it looked. did some cropping, and a tiny bit of post processing.

I love your cropped version. Much better than the composition of the original. Gives more imapct for sure.

The edit is much better.like the DOF alot. I have been going through my bee photos lately.lol.there are alot less now ;)

I think cropping a bit of the top would work even better. Looking at the pic before reading anything here. My eye would keep wandering up. I know rule of thirds, blah, blah but a tighter crop if you can with out loosing sharpness would be nice.
