Copperhill Eclipse vs E2 liquid?

So i was thinking of ordering one of these kits. Now it says the eclipse liquid for a 1DMKII but E2 for a 1DMKIII what is the difference. I am planning on getting a 1DIII probably around Christmas time and was wondering if I should just get the E2 liquid kit or cant i use that on a 1DII sensor

FWIW I've had my 30D for just over two years and my 40D for almost a year. I got some Eclipse for the 30D at around the time I got the 40D. I thought I'd rather take a risk with the older camera before trying a wet clean on the 40D, for which I will need E2. Well to date I have only felt the need to wet clean the 30D once, quite recently, and the 40D not at all. A small bottle of fluid should really last bloomin ages, at a couple of drops per clean.

You can buy the bottles separately and, for what they cost on eBay, and how long they last (unless you do a daily wet clean) I'd just get a bottle of each and not worry about a few dollars. Based on my experience the cost will probably work out to around $1 per year or so. YMMV

There is been so much back and forthing on E-E2 yes 5D no 5D some 5Ds I just got a sensor clean lens pen type. I suppose at times nothing but a wet clean will do though. As far as bottles lasting forever they will likely evaporate before you use a whole bottle for cleaning unless you have issues or live in the dust bowl.

As far as the difference E2 is for the tin oxide sensors and original for everything else.

But there has been a bit fudging on the issue at least about 5Ds since that is the bits I tried to keep track of. BTW I have a very early 5D and used original to clean off the factory oil and really an arctic butterfly and sensor klear (they do use a klever K don't they for their product?) has done for now.
