Have you taken a look at any depth of field calculators? There's one at DOFmaster.com, and there's another in the form of an Excel spreadsheet that one of the members here has put together. A Google search will give you lots of options. You can use them as a guide for setting up shots like this. As you learn, you'll have a better grasp without needing to use one. -David
