HDR, am I doing something wrong??

First multiple exposer hdr image.. Can't decide if I'm happy with it or not... I'm using photomatrix, are there any tips to using it? I dunno, C&C please. I know the subject and composition arnt anything special.

there are lots of setting you can adjust in photomatix.

To me it looks a bit oversaturated but some like that with HDR images. Overall you've achieved what's expected of HDR but I usually reserve HDR to sceneries that really need it and then you can really see how powerful a tool it can be. In this image I don't think it was needed in the first place so the results aren't going to be stunning.

I have tried Photomatix on and off for a couple years now, and never got what I would call "good" results from it. No doubt my fault in taking the pics and not choosing the right subject. Getting 3 or 5 images is not that hard, but things like buildings and cloudy skies with high contrast are going to do better. So I gave it another try and followed a link in one of our members footers to his tutorial. I learned from this one, cause he gave the actual setting numbers for his pics and explained what they did. You might want to look at it too. :)
