New Track in NJ- Thunderbolt Raceway

Took some shots of my buddies new M3 at Thunderbolt in New Jersey. C&C Welcome.

graet pictures, we attended the SCCA race at thunderbolt a couple of weeks ago. What a great track- very fast!

The new M3 looks great in white. I have yet to get to the track. Me and my friend are going to try to make the Ferrari Challenge at the end of the month. How is it from a photographer's perspective? Any hot spots you can take pics at? Just curious how he got on the track too. Racing school?

It was a hpde he was participating in.
As for photographing at the track: If you have a media pass then there are some good spots to take shots.
If you are just there taking pictures like I was there is a high fence that surrounds the entire track and there are very few spots that I was tall enough (im 6') to be able to shoot over the fence.

They sounded pretty strict about media passes on the website. Besides, I only have an XT with the 2 kit lenses. However I am 6' tall as well. Hopefully I can get at least some pics when I go. Thanks for the info.
