Hi guys,
This is my first post in this section so it s my first 580EX2. I can t get out of M-zoom. Manual is not helpful enough. How do you do?

Press the zoom button a couple of time until the letter "M" disappears from the zoom indicator.

make sure wide angle panel is pushed in all the way
press zoom button and turn dial all the way counter clockwise

Doh! I forgot that the dial has to be rotated, too. How embarassing. Since I didn't have the 580EX in front of me, I was thinking it worked the same way as the 550EX which only requires pushing the zoom button (and people keep saying the 550EX is less user friendly than the 580EX).  :o
