silly question

Hi guys,
This is my first post in this section so it s my first 580EX2. I can t get out of M-zoom. Manual is not helpful enough. How do you do?

Press the zoom button a couple of time until the letter "M" disappears from the zoom indicator.

No good!!
M-Zoom still On!

make sure wide angle panel is pushed in all the way
press zoom button and turn dial all the way counter clockwise

Works!!!!!!!!

Doh! I forgot that the dial has to be rotated, too. How embarassing. Since I didn't have the 580EX in front of me, I was thinking it worked the same way as the 550EX which only requires pushing the zoom button (and people keep saying the 550EX is less user friendly than the 580EX).
