Greystoke Stages 2008 (Yeah I'm slow)

The Greystoke Stages Rally took place for the first time this year on the 13th July, so I got them sorted within a month at least!

It was an eventful day with 2 or 3 cars rolling and other mishaps meaning a few delays and a couple of cancelled stages but at least the classic cumbrian weather stayed away!

Here are some of the better ones... think I'm improving from a year ago although I should really try and get out to more motorsport events. Lots of Escorts of all ages turned out for some sideways mayhem.

I like these ,looks really accurate colours.
1 and 5 are nice angles,2,3,4 could do with slower shutter speeds,4 is good composition,6 and 7 are a bit tight in the frame for me,but 8 is my standout shot,really good.
And I love Mk 2s.

Thanks Chris - my next target is to start lowering the shutter speeds and panning - not had much luck previously so its practice time.

I had cropped in rather tight on 6/7 - trying to show as much detail as possible - here they are effectively uncropped... (you may need to force a page refresh as I uploaded them with the same name (doh) and reupped the crops with different names)
