I have been using a rolling case (Lowepro Road Runner AW) for awhile now. I bought it because as I grew older and things happened (like torn rotator cuff) I just couldn't carry any sizable amount of gear. I know there are other reasons for using a rolling case besides being a worn out senior. I mostly use it, how about you?

I have 2 rollers. Pelican 1510 and Pelican PCS172. However, they're mainly used for airports or long road trips. Otherwise, I'll use a backpack.

A pelican 1564 if I need a lot of gear.

Or a Lowepro backpack to travel light.

I keep my gear in my 2 rollers, but don't take those out except for events I need it all. I usually take 2 shoulder bags. I do travel with my Think Tank International, though.

I will usually only use my Peli 1510 for flights. I use a cheap Gap canvas bag for walkaround.

I'd like something like a Pelican 1510 but just haven't the spare cash for one.. they're darned expensive here in the back end of nowhere..

I understand that is a really, really nice case. I looked at it when I bought my Lowepro. Can't remember why I went the way I did, cost maybe?

I have ThinkTank's Airport Security bag. It's become my primary bag. It's great for sports and wildlife, 'cause it can hold my long lenses. The 500mm, the 300mm, the 100-400 and my 24-70 along with both of my 1D bodies.
