I have been using the Lexar Profeesional 2GB 133x speed CF cards and the Lexar Compactflash reader since I got my XTi for Christmas in 2006.
I needed to buy a new card, however most of my local shops were out of the Lexar CF cards.
Today I bought the Sandisk Extreme III 2GB 133X CF card.
How do the San Disk's compare to the Lexar CF cards?
Will the Lexar Reader read the San Disk card. or should I get the a San Disk reader.
Silly questions.......maybe:oops:

Thanks.

I doubt there would be any problems if popped your Sandisk card into the Lexar reader. I'm sure it was made to be a general purpose CF reader if it was made for your Lexar CF card. I would give it a try with some test shots on the Sandisk card and try that with the Lexar reader.

I, myself use a Sony, multi-memory card reader for all my different brands/types of cards including Kingston, SanDisk, Sony, Corsair and Crucial in CF, SD, memory stick, memory stick duo, and MicroSD. I have not had any problems. I've also used Sony adapters with SanDisk memory cards before with no problems.

I currently have a Lexar Professional Compact Flash Reader and Sandisk cards, never had a problem in the few years I've had it.
