Very well worth it. Thanks for sharing. Great view! How long did it take to hike up that mountain? I don't know if I would have been able to make the whole climb.....Possibly, I would have taken a photo of the peak from the bottom of the mountain and titled it, "IMAGINE WHAT THE VIEWS LIKE FROM HERE" Hahahahaha..... Its a gorgeous view.

yes, this is the top of Mt. Mansfield. Just shy of the "chin".

It took 2.5-3 hours to get to the top before sunset. Went back down in the dark and had three porcupines cross our paths. Almost ran into one because it's hard to stop when you're truckin' down a steep hill.

Wow, that is a great shot. I really like the way the picture composition is distinctly layered from near to far.
