so this is really the first time i had the opportunity and actually thought of the technique. so this is my first panning shot. let me know your comments and tips for next time. thanks

the closer (larger) the background the better (open fields not so good)

the faster the subject moves the better

drop your shutter speed down to the same number as the focal length your shooting, or the next speed up.

and yea it was cayuga hoping to get to downsview this weekend for the drifting comp.
