A spiders veins are pretty small, how are you even photographing them? ;)

PS post a pic if you want help.

Sorry, I should be more precise with my wording. I just photographed my GF, and she says the veins in her legs are showing up in the shots, so I was curious how to remove them. That's the situation. I'll post up a cropped section of the pic...

Make sure you tell us what software you have, too.

Clone tool, patch tool, spot removal tool, or the stampy tool (I forget it's name) will all do the job. Choose whichever you like better.

Unless they're really bad, a little skin smoothing should take care of those little ones.

It's worth a great deal - but most people are going to try to give you Photoshop advice, even after you've told them you don't have it. It's funny like that around here :)

I wouldn't bother changing that. Maybe blur it out a bit with some kind of gaussian blur. I doubt many people will be able to help with weirdass graphics packages.

You can reassure your girlfriend those are not spider veins. The medical term for that slight mottled appearance of the skin is Livedo reticularis and it is quite common, especially in young women and children. It is due to dilation of capillary blood vessels and is usually worse in cold weather.
