Quick question guys. Should I just round off the edges of my 5"by7" white acrylic sheet and add velcro? Seems a lot better because I'd be getting a full reflective surface if I don't cut it into a trapezium shaped object.

I use velcro because it makes it SO easy to change between vert & horz.

Alright, my little DIY project's done.

My dad got a grinder and curved the 4 edges of the acrylic board. Filed it smooth too. I used double sided tape for one strip of velcro, and everything just flopped. So I double-sided taped another round of hairy-side velcro to my flash, and a prickly one to my acrylic board. It was still flimsy. So my dad got a drill with a small drill bit and drilled a few holes on the left and right of the velcro strip on the board, used a small cutter and made an hole in the shape of a strip. Put a prickly-side velcro through, and now it holds perfectly. The 'strip shaped hole' has those jagged teeth at the side, and that holds the prickly-side velcro wrap-around perfectly.

In summary: White Acrylic Board 5" x 7", rounded and filed sides, Velcro mounted with epoxy glue, velcro wrap-around strip fit through strip-shaped hole, held firmly by jagged teeth.

I tested it with the flash, and the area that reflects the flash is exactly 15cm high by 13cm wide.

Here's some pics:

Thanks for all your help, everyone!

Cheers!
