took this picture in the Land of OZ.
i also chopped it up with Adobe LightRoom and photochop. Let me know what you guys think! Taken with 17-40 L on a Xti.

Also here is a picutre of my dog sleeping. Took it with my Nifty-Fifty, on a Xti.

Both look great. After scrolling up and down a few times I couldn't find anything to criticize. The composition is good on both, focus is right-on and there's good DOF on your dog (who seems to be listening to the camera click? :-)). Nice work.

I'm curious - what DOF did you use on your nifty 50 on the dog pic? I can't imagine that was at 1.8. Also what distance were you from him/her?

i was at about f/11 and about 3 ft. away from him. every time i took a picture he would wake up haha
