Hot air balloons at dawn

Trying to shoot hot air balloons at dawn tomorrow. I know they will offer great opportunities for good shots. Any hints or tutorials around for this situation?

Get their well before dawn. You might be able to get some shots of balloon "glows." See if one of the teams will let you shoot from the vents at the top of the balloon as it's inflating.

Hope for no wind! :)

Thanks Mark. The vent thing is a great idea. I am somewhat of a newbie. If I do get to shoot the glow whats the best way to photograph a person using the glow in the background. Is it like any other backlit scene? Just fill flash?

I'd shoot in manual, meter for the glow with the flash on E-TTL. That way you'll expose ambient lighting for the glow and the flash will light your subject correctly. If you do it this way, remember not to recompose your shot or the flash will be off - or use FEL if you need to recompose.
