Abso-freaking-lutely FANTASTIC!!! I really dig your work.

I am looking forward to heading over to Houston in October for "Wings Over Houston" and your pics are an inspiration and my goal this year.

Nothing but your usual level of excellence sir...

I know the sky is blown out but the pair of TBolts is killer!

Sort of looks like Bob Hoover in the Mustang.

Wow ! Some great stuff there. Something ive always wondered though...with the sheer numbers of aircraft the US had in WWII ...why do there seem to be so few left ? Ive seen the documentaries of them throwing them into the ocean after the war (if thats what happened to most of them) but there were so many.

Most of them ended up as tin cans and razor blades...

The advent of the jet age simply rendered the vast majority of piston-powered aircraft obsolete. Also, jet engines are vastly more reliable and far easier to maintain than multi-cylinder radial engines.

The power to weight ratios provided by jet power also meant they had more payload capacity than a similar size piston-powered aircraft.

Great shots! Is that Jack Roush flying Old Crow?

Your P-51/F-16 shots is very nice, I never had a good angle on those two.

Awesome! At first, I thought they were model air planes at 2 feet away! What lens did you use to capture these amazing images and what speed did you use? Very good pics!!!!

Great shots Andrew!! And it was nice meeting you. I wish I would have had more time to talk but after the terrible sky conditions on Saturday I was dying to get some good shots, I was like a kid in a candy store on Sunday. After I weed through my pics, and rather than starting another thread ...would you mind if I post a few here?
