Backpack/ Camera bag

I may be needing to take my camera to school to shoot (I am taking a independent study on digital photography!! ) and am wondering if someone makes a bag that I could fit one body, a flash, and one or two lenses in AND have another compartment to put books, binders, etc. in.

I really don't want to take a separate camera bag because it would stick out and I might become a target; e.g. our school of over 3000 students has had a slight theft problem before...

You could probably buy a camera backpack that has room for a laptop and just put your books in the laptop compartment, thats what I do with my kata 467 rucksack

Wow that would be hard to do... Other than a compartment for a laptop most camera backpacks are just that, backpacks for cameras and thats about it. You will probably end up finding that the best and most convenient way to do it carry your normal school backpack with all your school stuff in it and get a shoulder bag like a Lowepro Nova 4 AW for example and carry your camera stuff in that separately...

Not sure how much room is in top of the Tamrac Adventure series...

It does not look like a camera bags, sturdy, very comfortable. It carries all my stuff in my sig + 3 flashes, kit lens and a 70-200 2.8 is.

It's very safe as the zipper is located at the back instead at the front. One of the reason why I used this bag,

^Nah, check their laptop messenger bags. Awesome! I sued the Dreadful Embarassment for what you described and worked great. Although I don't mind using two bags as I came to do.

I picked up this solution for both equipment and my laptop. Still plenty of room for books, etc. as well. While note a backpack or bag of sorts, it does have wheels and it'll take a padlock (to keep those peskey school mates out of your stuff)!
