Hey all, my first post in the transport section. I am really trying to get my game on in this area. Im usually trying to get portraiture and street photo down. And forgot all about Automotive photography. Someone asked me to shoot their IS300 and i decided to go for it to jump-start myself.
Anyways onto the pics!

Nice IS.

I like the colours and pp. Maybe if the yellows were cloned out it would help my eyes not wander around the picture. :)

look pretty good to me!

on the interior pic, if you select the windows and use a gradient fill with like a black/grey or white, it will really draw the attention to the interior without letting the eyes wander to the cement walls

You've made a pretty nice start here! #4 has nice highlights in the roof, side, & trunk.

Maybe if the yellows were cloned out it would help my eyes not wander around the picture.

In #1 I might have darkened it a bit & positioned the car so that the side picked up some of the sunset highlights in the side & moved the car away from the background a bit so the building didn't reflect in the hood & kill the highlights in the side.
I don't mind that as the red pretty much overpowers the yellow in those shots, but it's a good point because...

on the interior pic, if you select the windows and use a gradient fill with like a black/grey or white, it will really draw the attention to the interior without letting the eyes wander to the cement walls

Good point. The darker it is outside, the brighter it will look inside. Take a look at POST #30 near the bottom: The gray bar at the center is the same density all the way across.

Thanks a lot guys. I really did think about making the bg in the interior shots dark. But thought it looked too fake and obvious photoshoped? So I only darkened it a bit so it looked like the windows were tinted.
I still am questioning if I should still darken it as dark as the example.

Do what feels right to you. I'd have thought about a different background or darkened your original windows more.

But thought it looked too fake and obvious photoshoped?

Maybe put in a night skyline?
