I liked these shots when I took them, but I think time has helped me see what they could be. I felt like two of them would feel more intimate with a lot of gritty edges, but the river shot didn't need that at all. I could be wrong. As I said, I'm testing new stuff out. Let me know what you think. It would be a big help.

#1 & #2 don't really do anything for me.

#3 is excellent, but slightly crooked.

LOL at #1..."MacroMan"....that could be considered an insult here in the US. :p

Yeah, I understand that. The river shot is much more natural. The street shot was a little more unexpected but probably forced in Lightroom - I do have to say that I still like the Pansiyon building for the image itself, but maybe not necessarily the production added to it. The experiments continue...
As for the MacroMan, pretty hilarious. I feel I got a lucky shot from the inside of a taxi in Mumbai through the front windshield. Not quite the controlled environment of the riverboat, but I have some other interpretations in the works.

At least #3 has an interesting waterfront landscape, albeit extremely askew. That can and should be fixed, if you are of a mind to do it.

The first two shots are just gritty - no real message coming through, and certainly not recognizable examples of any well known genre'.

in 1 I didn't actually realise that you were sitting in a car. then I saw the mirror and was like why is there a floatin car next to the sign...

then I realised...

These do looka bit like snapshots though. 1 would be good except you have taken it in the car and the steering wheel and mirror are distracting.

I like the first one, its busy and I like the grit in it. second one isn't anything too flash, but for an image of an old building it works being gritty I think, looks better than probably the original. the lower of the river is fab!, a splendid image

Were the steering wheel and rearview mirror more in focus before post-processing? If so, I'd leave them more in focus so you can tell what's going on.

I was about to say "why did you photoshop a car into the upper left corner" and "your subject is totally blocked by that weird arc in the other corner" before I saw you were in a car. I think my eye would rather recognize that you were in a car. It actually makes the photo pretty cool!
