I have a Domke F-802 and absolutely love it. However, the only problem I have with it is that the strap is not padded (it can really be uncomfortable sometimes).

Does anyone know of a way, or is there an existing pad, that I could add a padded shoulder strap to the existing strap?

Domke has their own shoulder strap pad available.

If you search around Adorama or B&H, they carry shoulder strap pads as well from a number of manufacturers.

The shoulder pad is awesome! I have one on each of my bags and it makes a big difference.

Not that I've noticed, and I've been using them on all my bags for somewhere around 30 years. Highly recommended.

I like my Billingham 206 shoulder strap pad (SP20). Nice and comfy.

Curious as to how this goes on the existing strap.
Any ideas?

It velcros around the existing strap. You can see the velcro straps in that picture.

Thanks. I thought so, but wasn't 100% sure.

I use the Domke pad with the two velcro straps and it's great, except, I have long hair and it can get caught and chunks of hair come off if the bag slips. It's happened a few times so I have to put my hair up when I use the pad. Not a problem. To get it to stay on the shoulder, you have to have it grippy. Right?
