Hi All,

I know someone who is selling his tripod Manfrotto NAT55 and ball head 222 in India. He is asking roughly 240USD for the setup.

I want to know what you experts think about this setup before I commit him anything.

Below are my requirements:
1. I do lot of landscape photography and ocassionally some macro. Do you think this setup will be helpful for such kind of photography?

2. I have 2 glasses at the moment. 18-55 kit lens and Sigma 70-300. I am also planning to buy Sigma 50-500 and Sigma 10-20. Do you think this setup will be able to handle the Bigma 50-500??

Do you guys think that the price is worth paying??

Please let me know soon as I have to decide by 16th Aug.

Thanks

Avi

Manfrotto 222 is the grip action ballhead according to Google.
I would avoid that one, but that's personal preference.

No idea what version the NAT55 is, but the Manfrotto 055 is the most recommended over here.

There is a review of the 055 linked from the sticky..

Thanks for the information Rene.
I searched for the ball head 222 on Manfrotto, and even I did not like the way it was described.

I've cancelled the deal. Thanks for your response..
