I enjoy looking at every one's street photography and have been trying my own hand at it. I found that it's not easy for me.

I'm at the point now where I need some C&C from others to find the right direction.

Here are some shots from a walk through a Farmers Market. I'd appreciate your reactions.

Nice!

Must really be a small town. That merchant had 4 apples, a tomatoe, and 2 peaches.

I like it!..

When I go on these creative rampages I usually try to use the widest lens I can (without distortion, so close to 30mm). And then I just get closer. I always take the photo, and then ask (if something is said).

First one specially, is my favorite. I almost critiqued, but this is not the right section of the forum for that.

Thanks for sharing, and keep posting pics !!.. :)

Cool shots. When I walk around doing street photography, I try to capture a different angle of something people normally walk right past. I am also attracted to anything that is old/decrepit, falling apart, spray painted, or destroyed.

You can take the kid out of California, but you can't take the California out of the kid

I can't see the EXIF, but the second one is soft. How small a town is this? I live in a small town and it seems pretty target poor for street shooting to me. :)

PhotoJourno & California Kid -- Thanks for the tips. They will come in handy.

Canonloader -- You're right; the second one does look soft.:(

Looks like focus grabbed on to the lady with the red bag. It's not really soft but the center subject is out of focus.
