Still loving this camera. I took it, the 135L, 50L and my new 17-40L to MI this past weekend. Had a blast:

OKAY, OKAY, I was breaking and thinking do I get it or not... just sold my 5d and the 40d sales is in progress and because of you I'm getting this little camera. :-)

Northern Michigan tends to be a little chilly most of the year ;).

I think I got a couple shots of "a" lake. I think there are several in that area. We rented a boat and took that down a little canal through a lock that lead to a large lake. I am not sure of the name of that lake. The canal area was really cool. Little houses and such on it. It was a great time...

Yea, there are a lot of lakes in that area, big and small! I was thinking of Lake Michigan/little traverse bay, the big water. I think that area down to Traverse City is one of the most beautiful areas in the state.
