Hi, I'm a bit confused about the size of the filter.
I have a 18-55m lens,a 75-300mm lens and a 50mm standard lens
Would a 52mm filter fit all 3 lenses?
As I understand, the filters are only for zoom lenses...? If thats the case, then would it fit the first 2?
Any inputs appreciated! thanks.

Hi asty - welcome to the forum .

No, filters are not just for zoom lens. They can be purchased for any and all lenses if you decide that's what you want to do. ONE filter WILL fit all of those lenses ONLY if the filter diameter is idential on all the lenses. I am not familiar with those, but my guess is that they will not.

That being side, I have a UV filter that WILL fit three of my lenses: 24-105, 17-40 and 70-200. All three of those lenses have a filter thread that measures 77mm in diameter. That is the diameter of my UV filter (and also CPL).
