The Talbot-Lago

Also from August 3rd's Concours d'Elegance.

Just as with The Delahaye, I say it with reverence: The Talbot-Lago. With capital letters.

Widely considered cousin to The Delahaye, the Talbot-Lago is another French make which was also extensively bodied by the Figoni & Falaschi coachbuilders. Many Talbot-Lago & Delahaye models have strikingly similar appearances, though it's the subtleties which distinguish them from one other.

This shining example is a 1947 Talbot-Lago T26 by Figoni & Falaschi.

Because this artwork was in motion much of the time, I was not able to get some of the shots I would have liked.
