I see where you are going but I do not think you are there yet. One of my concerns is bisecting the eyes of the girls and leaving the centers and inner eye in total darkness / shadow. This is not pleasing to the eye nor attractive in the least. The second would be the same cross lighting highlighting the rough texture of the girls forehead and face - again not very flattering. The best way to fix this is with flags that block some the face and fill from the front (ring flash works great here) and reducing the specularity by using more diffusion in the softboxes. Reduce the overall flash output from the sides by 1 stop and increase the front fill to balance it out and split the exposure as you see fit.

If you see hard shadows in the center line of the face it needs to be filled...

Cool shots! Is it me or does the light seem a tad too bright, highlights look blown to me. Also, not sure if this is over powering the sun, as there isn't much sun on over cast night skies :)

these would have looked a million times better with a little bit of fill on their faces. Right now with the huge dark shadow down the middle of their faces makes them almost look cross eyed in a few shots, and you lose the eyes completely in the others.
