Hey all,

I just ordered the Sigma 10-20mm from Adorama and started reading up on the delivery details.
Im living at the moment in Germany so I was under the impression if I wasnt at home, I could simply pick up from the depot (like DHL do here). Now Im reading on the shipping details if no one will be home I have to choose another delivery option on UPS.com to do this.
Im viewing the Package process section but no option is available to choose another option. What gives? Does Adorama lock this out or something with their deliveries?
What will happen if I cant change it? I doubt my building neighbors will be home and Im reading up on here of packages left outside.

Any one able to help?

Thanks in advance ;)

IIRC, and I don't know if it's the same in Germany, you can't redirect until UPS has made one delivery attempt.

send "akiwi" a PM - he's likely to have a good idea about whats what.
From experience here in NZ, if the item is expensive enough & attracts GST attention it will be held up at customs until they contact you & you pay up.
This contact provides you with an opportunity to get item delivered to work instead of home.
Does Adorama give you a tracking number? if so you may be able to speak to the local UPS office & get it redirected from there.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
